Renaissance Floor and Carpet was recommended to me by a friend who used them and was very pleased. We found Amir to be pleasant to deal with and he was very knowledgeable about the options we had to replace the flooring in our kitchen, laundry room, and hall. We decided on a Duro-Ceramic by Congoleum. The installer team came on schedule and worked hard removing and then replacing the tile all in four days. They also did a thorough cleaning before ending each day. They did a very professional job and we're very happy with the result. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would gladly recommend them to others.

Renaissance Floor and Carpet -- One stop shop for carpet and floor! If you are in the market to replace your carpet or floor, look no further. I invested a lot of energy approaching different contractors about replacing our kitchen floor and could have saved myself much time and effort. Fortunately, I came across a recommendation for Renaissance Floor and Carpet on our internal neighborhood website. My husband and I met with Amir. You can't help but like the guy immediately. He has a very gentle manner, is courteous, efficient and extremely patient. His crew arrived promptly each morning (2 days) worked long hours, quietly and tirelessly, sweeping, cleaning and clearing up before they left. They did a great job and even fixed a patch of flooring which the previous installer had shabbily stuffed newspapers under the floor to level it! Rarely will you find such personal, friendly and professional service. Renaissance Floor and Carpet has our highest recommendation.

Great work, we are very pleased. The price was the best that we found. The installers were hardworking, professional and neat. Our new floors look amazing. We have used this co several times over the years for both hardwoods and carpet and they have always done a great job.

I got the owner's number from my friend who just finished a whole house job. Amir came on the second day after I called him. We agreed on the price and scheduled the work just 4 days away. I appreciated his ability to accommodate me because I didn't want the floors to be installed too far in the future. His crew delivered the hardwood and came to work at the time exactly as promised. They worked all day for 3 straight days with almost no stop. Amazing. They cleaned up the dirt everyday in a reasonable fashion so I could at least live in the house. They replaced some existing damaged floors for me at no extra charge. My wife was happy because they even fixed a squeaking stair step left by the builder. The measurement was accurate because I had only 5-6 pieces of wood left. They deserve a 5 star rate and I already recommended them to others.

We decided to replace our first level, stair and upstairs hall with 5-½ inch Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring. We shopped at 5 local stores. One of them was a lumber liquidator. Amir (owner) at Renaissance Floor & Carpet was able to beat them by thousands. The work took 5 days to complete. His crews come everyday on time and clean after themselves when the day ends. They were excellent, honest and trustworthy. They were very responsive to everything that I needed. Their work was exceptional and my floor and stairs look fantastic! My wife love it and I think that what matter the most. Plus it was on budget! FYI, I found them though Angie's List.

Two years ago, Renaissance Floor and Carpet installed a composite tile floor in the finished part of my basement. Approximately 3 months ago, some minor problems occurred. Amir, the owner, promptly came to my house to inspect and knew exactly what had to be done to remedy the situation. Although out of warranty, he stood behind both the product and his installation, fixing the problem at no charge! I could not have asked for more and would recommend this company without reservation.

I recently purchased a townhouse in King Farm community of Rockville and was planning to replace the basement carpet and make the first floor hardwood floor steps look better and newer. I already spent a lot on the house and furniture and on a budget, yet I don't want to have poor quality flooring and bad workmanship. I did a little search on the internet and found Renaissance Floor & Carpet and decided on to have a visit. Man I am glad I made this decision! The owner, Amir, was very kind and knowledgeable in carpeting and flooring. He gave me a few recommendations on the basement carpet and also the options of sanding and re-finishing the hardwood floors. He came to my house for an estimate and his price quote beats the Home Depot price (I had intended to install the Martha Stewart Living patternedcarpet) for the same type of carpet material. The installation team was also very professional and did a top-notch job! They are right on time and did a beautiful job to install the new carpet and refinish the hardwood floors. Their attention to detail really impressed me. I rarely leave reviews on the internet, but I want all my friends and people in the area to know that what a pleasure to work with Renaissance and Amir. I'll recommend Renaissance to my friends and everyone in the area for carpet and flooring work, you will have no regret for sure!!

Jim 'n' Genie. We recently had Renaissance tile our basement, it was a job Genie and I were not looking forward to, we expected a lot of dust and upheaval. However, we were very pleasantly surprised, Renaissance did an exellent job, Francisco and Luis were the kind of tradesmen you dream about, polite, courteous, punctual and above all, EXELLENT AT THEIR TRADE. They covered our driveway with tarps, they also covered furniture that had to be left in the basement due to it's size. I would not hesitate to recommend Renaissance to anyone who is thinking of having carpet, tile or hardwood floors installed. Two Thumbs Up.

Renaissance did a great job with our new hardwood floors installed in our kitchen, living and dining rooms, and entryway. Superb Job! We recently purchased a home in King Farm and had hardwood floors installed on the first two levels and stairs. We later had them to place carpet in a newly constructed area of the lower level. Renaissance....Two Thumbs Up Hired Renaissance to do extensive installation work in my Chevy Chase home. The basement and guest bedroom were recarpeted. The upstairs bedrooms had the carpeting replaced with wood flooring. There is nothing other then praise that I can say about Renaissance. At the showroom Amir was very helpful. The installation crews came on time and completed the work in the timeframe they said they would. The craftsmanship esp. the floor installers was beyond my expectations. Additionally they were neat and moved my furnishings with extreme care. I highly recommend Renaissance.

Knowledgeable, Professional, Detail Oriented Renaissance was recommended to me through a friend who also had a positive experience with Amir (the owner) and his staff. Amir showed me the hardwood options for my condo. He also helped me select the wood as I described my vision and the type of the furniture and colors in my home. Later we finalized the type/color of wood when he came out to give me an estimate. Also, the flooring installers are employed by Renaissance (one of my installers has been with the company 11 years). Thus, the installers were meticulous and paid attention to detail as they installed the floors. The trim was installed better than the builder of my building. The floors look great and am very satisfied with the personalized service through Renaissance.

Great work, Great Service Amir was very helpful and made multiple trips to show us several flooring samples before we selected the natural hardwood. The installers were seasoned pros and the detail trim work looks great. We have already recommended Amir and Renaissance to our neighbors who just had them install flooring and they love the quality of the work.

Great Flooring Contractor We used Renaissance Flooring in Rockville, Maryland to install hardwood and porcelain tiles in parts of our house 3 years ago. Because we were very pleased with the customer service provided by the owner, Amir, and the workmanship of his workers 3 years ago, we used Renaissance Flooring again 2 months ago when we needed more hardward flooring done in our house. They did not disappoint us the second time around. Amir's workers, Alfanso and Jose, completed the high quality installation within the time period that Amir promised. The owner, Amir, helped us a lot in finding the source of a squeaking noise under the old wood floor and got rid of it. He and his staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Our experiences with them is that they do put their efforts in making their customers happy. Customer service is their strong suit. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future if I want more flooring work done. Highly recommended! They are much better than another flooring contractor we had used in the Germantown area.

Ren Floor & Carpet provides great accurate work. I had my kitchen flooring redone and was sooooo pleased with how it looks. When company comes by to visit the family, I can thing of 2 friends that commented on how good the hardwoods looked. If you are considering someone to do floors. I highly recommend them!!

The works were here for 5 days and were extremely professional and polite and also cleaned after themselves. The work was also very good. They were not the cheapest, but they were worth it.

Description Of Work:
Removed my old carpet, hardwood, and vinyl. Installed hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and hallway. Installed carpet in 3 bedrooms. And installed vinyl in laundry room and 2 bathrooms. Price included padding, installation, molding, removal/hauling of old materials. They also installed two toilets in my bathroom.

I shopped around several stores, but Ali ended up being the best value for the money. I went back to him the next week and placed the order. I even gave him the keys to my condominium so he can give to his delivery guys. They are very professional.
